The brief
A licensed day home in Edmonton had an outdated one-page site. Parents decide quickly, so the new page needed to show trust, opening hours, meals and how to book a visit, all on a phone.
Our approach
The owner chose an arched-imagery layout while keeping her purple and cream colours. We widened the container, removed the contact form she did not want, and made sure every text, photo and icon could be changed from the Customizer.
What we built
- Single-page custom WordPress theme
- Hero with booking and phone call buttons
- Trust strip: hours, CPR certification, nearby park, smoke-free home
- About, why us, meals, environment and contact sections
- Every element pre-filled and editable from the Customizer
- Children’s photos protected for privacy
